General information

The orchestra rehearses throughout the year with occasional breaks. The normal rehearsal time is Tuesday evenings at 7:30. Concerts are normally held on Sunday evenings, and there are extra rehearsals during the week of the concert: one on the preceding Thursday (7:30 p.m.) and one on the preceding Saturday. 

In the wake of the Palisades Fire and other events, we are still searching for a long-term home for holding our rehearsals and concerts. This means  that members need to be more flexible about rehearsal and performance times. Always make sure that the Orchestra President, Denisa Hanna (click here to email) has your email address, so you will be promptly notified of any changes.

PRIMARY LOCATION FOR CURRENT REHEARSALS

Location: Belmont Senior Living, 10475 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90024

Parking: From the 405, go east on Wilshire for 1.5 miles. After the light at Warner, turn left into the driveway labeled "Church parking." The church will be on the left, and Belmont Senior Living on the right. Drive to the end of the driveway and turn right into the garage. Park on levels 2 or 3 and take the elevator to P-1.

If coming west on Wilshire from Beverly Hills, turn right into the same driveway just before Warner.

Instrument drop-off: Large instruments can be unloaded at the front door, where a staff member will assist.

Rehearsal room: Located immediately to the right of the front entrance.

What to bring: Please bring your own music stand.
