Handel's Messiah

Sunday, December 4, 2022, 7:30 p.m.

Join us as we perform the world's favorite oratorio, whose Part I fits so well as a celebration of the Christmas season. We will perform this great work with our sister organization, the Brentwood Palisades Chorale, who are returning to performance after a long COVID break.

The concert will be co-directed by Joel B. Lish, director and conductor of the Palisades Symphony, and Susan S. Rosenstein, director and conductor of the Brentwood Palisades Chorale.

Vocal soloists will include Elias Berezin, Eric Castro, Megan Gillespie, Adelaide Sinclair, Richard Kinsey, Susan Montgomery, Marie Hodgson, Deborah Mayan, and Xavier Prado.

The concert honors the memory of Eva Holberg, who served as our President and Manager for five decades, and of Joel Busch, a longtime Chorale member and member of the PSO board.

Admission is free; open seating

The Palisades Symphony and the Palisades Methodist Church are committed to protecting the safety of all participants, so we are requiring the following:

  • Attendees must present proof of vaccination, which will be checked at the entrance.
